Malawi Update

It is so good to get a letter from Rackson knowing he is always hard at work for the Lord and His church. I look and long to be there with him only I am afraid I slow him down due to my age and his youth. I know in my heart that I and all of you are an encouragement to him makes no difference if here in Milton or in Malawi with him he needs all the help the Lord can provide. I talked to him today and all is going well, he was at a church meeting planning the next soul winning program. I am sending his last e-mail letter to me for your enjoyment and prayers for the work.

Dad and mom,

I your son I am very grad (glad) that God is using me here to the people of Malawi, When we enter in heaven, you will able to see all of this people, you are my back bone.

All the help you sent to me my Family and the ministry, it helps me to reach people with the gospel.

Starts from last month we have a soul winning and outreach ministry, we able to reach more village with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and 438 people accept The Lord Jesus Christ to be their saviour. There is village very close to lake Chiuta, (MACHINGA DISTRICT) called Chiwinja Village it a very dry Village in terms of the Word of God, there is no any true and false Church, what they know in this Village is traditional and witch doctors, my prayer is that before it is late we better visit the village not with candy and ice cream but with the truth from the Bible as soon as possible, my great need is financially help for transport,( $320 it will help to hire the truck)  But you can send what you have Dad, you know anything you will send it will help, I will go with small group to this village for two days, to my surprise people there they don’t know Christ yet they are dying every day. The question that clicks (comes) to my mind is that, where are this people going to spend eternity. Question is why I am not reaching this people. For sure God is going to speak to someone else whether there or here, it is great joy when one soul turns to the Lord. People are calling every day from different parts of Malawi to go preach and showing Jesus Film, Dad you know the reason why I can’t reach them, Dad please pray and Do something.

Looking forward to see you Dad here, so that we can lift together the flag of the Lord Jesus Christ by reaching people with the Gospel, (soul winning) Remember Dad, that praying for you it is part of my life.

Mom receive a credit for calling me sometimes I don’t take it for granted it encourages my heart and it means a lot to me.

Funeral Report for Chief Doctors Mom

What a great report, you will notice that the Chief's mother has a very nice casket most of the people have just a plain wooden box. 1600 people at a funeral is a lot even by Malawi standards. What  a wonderful opportunity for the Word to be preached. I am so humbled to be a part of this ministry where Christ is lifted up and proclaimed to be the author and finisher of our salvation. And the work goes on. There might be a new church soon maybe two, way to go Rackson.

Funeral Report

Dear Dad, we have very good funeral serves at Njuli, we went to the hospital to get body in the morning, and the serves start in 14hrs and more people come, as you know Malawi when we have funeral everybody needs to come, we have more than 1,600 people  so I preached to this people, and I thank God more people raise their hands for salvation, and I prayed with them, thank God that you was there by the time I was calling you for help, chief Doctor say thank you for help.

Now the church start to put some stuff to gather for the conference, because they have been asked me about this, and I said just put the stuff together for it, and then we can see when we can have the conference, if we have all the stuff ready. Please pray for Malawi ministry, we are still having two more villages around Bible way Baptist Church, where we are going for soul winning and have village church service still needs your prayers and help.

News about Chief Doctor's Mom

I received the following from Rackson while in NC visiting the Schenimann’s who both work in Malawi and we have spent much time together planning the work we do while in Malawi. I will send pictures of the people Rackson is talking about. The Chief’s mother is the one who was very instrumental in our receiving the land we have for the church building and the Chief made sure the price was right. Believe me when I say we got good land at a great price. The village is called Doctor and it is in the tribal area called Njuli. We have sent Rackson some money to help out in this time of need in the village and with the Chief’s family. I also got in contact with him and helped his planning. His report by phone was it was a very large gathering of people and he preached the funeral, many, many were saved at the preaching of the pure Gospel. When I get the pictures and more information I will send along. Please pray for the Chief and his family. When he first heard the Gospel he got jumping up and down saved and wanted his village to hear and that is why there is a Bible Way Baptist in Njuli, Africa.

 The Chief’s father is a wonderful man and was one of the first to become a member of BWBC Njuli, he is a real doctor.

Soul Winning Friday May 3rd

What a wonderful surprise from my son (spiritual), he is doing what most of us only wish we could do. I really thank Bible Way for all your help you have made a lot of this possible knowing a little is a lot if the Lord is in the work and as you see He is. Dear Freinds,

Greetings from Malawi Africa, 

It was wonderful soul winning on friday, we went to my village called Chikuse, and we start 1:30 pm doing soul winning, then all of us we meet together at my grandmother’s home, where we have church service, it was very good to see more people get saved.

This is our program for every week, to every village around Bible Way Baptist Church; we have some two more villages to go,

 soul winning is nomber one to this Ministry, and praying that God will help this ministry all the needs for his name sake,

I thank God that sometimes he let the hard times to come to our life, but he is there for us, and we are doing as much as we can to work for him in this last days , he is a God of mercy.

April Bible Study and Church

I just got these pictures from Bro. Dave Mowery, he uses Bible Way to teach his classes and also helps Rackson with his teaching and preaching. I am so pleased that we are a part of the works and glory in Gods goodness. Rackson is pretty much on his own with John being back in America for this year so please pray for him and all the missionaries on the field. I love getting reports like this showing us that our support is doing so much for the kingdom of Christ.

Pal in Pace,

 Larger crowds lately. We have been teaching and preaching on the family.

Last week taught on the affects of Islam in the church. Today they are sitting with there families. Gives me tears of joy to see them growing. God is good.

Any more direction on you coming. Harry is coming on Saturday, for 3 weeks.

(this is the kind of question that breaks my heart, I can't go with Harry- Chuck)
