October 8th

We are home and just about over Jet lag. This past week has been interesting. We fall asleep at 2 in the afternoon and wake up at 2 in the morning. I think our bodies are still in Malawi. You hear it so often from those that have gone to Malawi they leave their hearts there. We will be going back to catch up with our hearts next year.

We are busy buying some good walking shoes for the Pastors and Evangelists. They are on the road at light (5am) till dark (7pm). They have a purpose and will be gathering and telling the people about our Lord Jesus and being saved. When we go back next year, the church planting (no cost) will be going strong. It costs $2,500.00 to build a church they can meet in. There are no pews, no benches; there will be rocks to sit on and lots of space to meet with a roof. The people just need a central place to walk to. They do walk miles and miles and the service is only in the morning and goes for four hours. Could you worship for four hours sitting on a rock? For more information about church planting or building please let us know.
There is so much to tell you! The school will be looking for school desks or something to use as a desk. Right now they have a wooden makeshift desk and bench. This is the start of rainy season. That means the rate of malaria goes up.
We have so many pictures and lots to tell! This Sunday evening we will be doing a presentation for the church.
