Thursday October 4th

Another full day and with the blessings of the Lord much will get done. I got a call from Rackson and he reported out on the funeral he preached yesterday, He wanted me to thank Bro. John for letting him use his SUV, as you know the son of a member of Bible Way Njuli passed away the other day and the funeral was yesterday but not at Njuli it was at the village of the mother. But because they are church family Rackson was asked to preach. He told me if it were not for the loan of the SUV he would have had to walk for three and a half hours to get there. The family is very poor so the church helped with the cost as did Rackson and the family, that is the way it is supposed to be done. Rackson said about 500 attended and the preaching went well with many, many hands raised to accept Jesus as Savior.
Last evening was church here at the Fullford's home and Bro. Harry preached(see pictures) a well thought out treaties on heaven, he will finish next Wednesday. Class went well for the both of us (see pictures).

I went first and then helped John build another table his workshop in Tengani, if Harry had helped it would have been the three stooges but without him it was Abbott & Costello. (see pictures). After a late start we delivered materials to a church in the Thyolo district and had a great time with the kids got home at 1930 to no Escom but water so it was in the shower for me and then a wonderful meal of meatloaf. God is so good. Tomorrow is another full day as after class we go to Benini church (the death march) Harry gets to go.

Pastors conference in Tengani

Bible study, pastors conference 57 attendees, college compound building and Jesus Film in Tengani and yes it is hot in Tengani and people want to know what it is like to be a missionary in Malawi. As you see no water or food till you get back home, it is a long three days. John does this once a month plus all other things.

A bigger Kingdom! October 2, 2012

It was a great day in Malawi (10-02-12), up early and saw John off to Tengani, had a fab breakfast and lots of time to prepare for class at 10:00. Harry had first period at 08:30 and last period 1315. As I was taking it easy in my room Harry came in around 1500 and said “let’s go soul winning” we and three of the students hopped in the SUV and were off to Njuli, parked the car at the church and split into two groups. Harry and James and Nelson took the high road and I and Steve took the low road. We had to be back to the car by 1630 in order to be home in time to eat. When we all met back at the car, a little late 1645 the news was good as the kingdom was increased by 11 souls who accepted Christ as their Savior, we invited them to church and medical clinic this coming Sunday and have set up bible studies. Is this a great place or what. I always pray the Holy Spirit will go before us and touch just one heart; He always does more. Met Rackson at the church as he and some men were preparing for a funeral of a member who’s son died yesterday late. Rackson will preach the service, many will get saved I am confident. Got home and the Escom was off so no dinner and the water was off so no shower. God is good and the power came back and we had a great meal and wonderful dessert of lemon bars and coffee. John got home after a long hot, dry dusty and dirty day and with the blessings of God, hot water, man it don’t get any better than a hot shower, in fact now that John  is out I will get in. More later. Bro. Chuck the soon to be wet one.
