Rackson's Prayer letter

Dear Supporters and praying Friends,
I am greeting you in the wonderful name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. I am hereby to updating you brethren about Gods work here in Malawi Africa, but let me take this time to thank you all for your prayers and support, it help me and my family and the ministry very much God Bless you.
A previous month and this month God has been so good to us, we have been reaching several souls through door to door and soul winning but not very much, because this two last week we had abundantly rain, so that it was very hard to go out. But still God put 105 people in his account.
Talking about Bible Class at Bible Way Baptist Church, studies are going very smoothly with the help of the Lord. The attendance of the students is going up every week and the availability of the teachers is very good as well. Continue to pray for us and remember your prayers means much to us here. (Corinthians 3:9)
Bible Way Baptist Church Njuli.
The church is growing more and more soul winning, last week we had baptism of 27 people and of them got saved on the very same day and within the same hour got baptized, we have something to praise the Lord Amen!!!.
Here in Malawi still many problems, this last two weeks the civil servants were in strike, because many things prizes has been raised so badly, for example a bag of maize 50kg was sold at mk5000 ($17) and now it is mk10,000 $34 within two weeks, and there is speculations that they may raise this price again  because fuel will be raised also very shortly, PREASE PRAY FOR OUR PEOPLE, because it is hard even for someone who is working to feed his own family. Believe me many they are starving out here. That is why we started raising money in our Church so that we can help the desperately people like the widows, Aged, orphans, and other vulnerable people in our church and those that we have Identified in the surrounding Villages. Acts 20:35
A PRAYER REQUEST
·         For many souls to be saved.
·         Support to our family and the Ministry
·         Transportation
·         Bibles for the student $146 per box of 20 Bibles.
·         Help for the needy of food
Thank very much once again for your prayers and support you render to us and the ministry.
God Bless you much.

God is Good - Sunday March 17th

This was waiting for me when I got home last evening, it is always so good to get a report from my second home. The church, which is very large by Malawi standards is getting to look full up. How good is that? Rackson is trying to get transportation (car/pick-up) for many reasons and yes safety is one reason of the many. It is our prayer that some if not all will try and help in this matter, he needs $7000.00 and can get a very good 10 year old vehicle from South Africa which will be imported from Japan.

Subject: Church today

Dear Dad,
Church was Good today, more people come, and more people knows to give tithe now Praise the LORD, and the Church grow with knowledge. I use to go by another way which is shortcut to Dave’s home may be 1 hour and half to walk with children then I go by Dave’s truck to Church but according for the way maize grow very big, people are Robbed and killed in that way, so I have to change it again because Grace she don’t want to go on that way so, I have to go by around Limbe, the problem in Limbe is the Min Bus will not go till they filled with people, and not many people travel on Sunday, Hope in two to three month people will start harvesting and it will be ok no more problems, not only that way its allover Malawi this time around many people robbed and killed, down at Njuli aria, young lady killed last week, when she was coming from work. Thank Bro Dave for me please, for  what he is doing to my family sometimes he do take us home from the church.
GOOD NEWS:
Someone donate 4 bags of Maize flower, cooking oil, salt, tomatoes, and etc, to help the orphans and the widows and the needs in our church, so I and the ladies group we will do the work to help this people sometime this week.
Now the rain is going to an end we set up more soul winning in deferent villages.
God Bless you all for your support.

Lord's Supper

I thought I would send along the pictures of the Lord’s Supper, I think it was last week Rackson did the baptisms at Bible Way, if I remember right they had the women fill the baptistery from the river as thieves stole the working parts of the well to sell as scrap for money to eat. As you can see they are in need of trays to hold the small cups of grape juice. I am very pleased at the work Rackson continues to do on behalf of the church here in Milton, Florida and all the supporters country wide, what a blessing he is and has been. I think I love him and his family too much if that is possible.

2013 is Underway

Well 2013 is underway and a lot has already happened in our world here in America most not so good I think but I don’t plan on being here a lot longer but do miss what we were and will miss what we could be.

The world is a big place and there are many, many who are in bad places and without much hope of their lives ever being any better, this is as good as it gets for them and then they die. For those who find themselves in that place, a place of no hope is why I think the Holy Spirit had these words preserved for us in Mat 11:29-30  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  (30)  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. I think we living here in America miss the great blessing found in this “great invitation” but believe me people in other countries understand about the physical burdens and the spiritual burdens all were born into. That is why I feel the call to answer the “great commission” found in Mark 16:15-16  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  (16)  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  Like many of you I can’t or haven’t fulfilled the commission as well as I would have liked, no matter the reason for my failure I have been able to help others who are on the front lines fulltime so feel I am getting the word of the Lord done in some small way.

Many of you know or know of Rackson Kaiwe and it is for him I am sending this e-mail, Rackson is no longer with Good Samaritan Ministries and has struck out on his own as an Independent Baptist Preacher, teacher and Evangelist under the oversight of Bible Way Baptist Ministries, Malawi C. Africa and is doing an outstanding work there. But as all who start a new works he has run into some difficulties and needs help. He has started a bible study at Bible Way Baptist Church, Njuli with about 50 + attendees, he wants to do this twice a week but cannot afford the cost of feeding the student breakfast and lunch for the full days study, members travel miles on foot to be there nor can he afford the cost of transportation from his home in downtown outskirts of Blantyre to Njuli a distance of 30 Km (18 miles) with family 3-4 times a week to Preach on preach/teach on Sundays and go soul winning/visitation on Saturdays and hold bible studies during the week he just does not have that kind of support yet. So I am sending one of his letters to me to you and asking for your prayers yes but also help in the area of support.  Big, small, long time or one time please know it will help him in doing God’s work. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. Forgive me if you get this more than once.

Prayer Letter

It is such a pleasure to send this prayer letter along, to see the Njuli church being used in such a good way exceeds all my prayers, to see ministries work together for the preaching/teaching of the Gospel is what the great commission(Mar 16:15)  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. is all about. John and his family is worth of our prayers and support. That is why I like to stay with them when I go to Malawi, lots of work, lots of fun and lots of love, I’ll save you a place on the plane when I next go. Bro. Chuck

Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

Dear Fellow Laborers in Christ,
Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me. Philemon 11
As we enter into the end of the year, I sometimes wonder if God the Son would make the above statement to God the Father about us. There was a day when we were alienated and enemies of the Lord, (unprofitable) but by His Blood hath He reconciled us to Him! (Col. 1:21) Lord willing we all will be found profitable by our work to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world.
We entered into these last two months of the year with much to do. There were churches needing help, the Bible Institute to finish, lessons to be translated into Chichewa, and one of the most important task at hand, the King James English Bible being translated into the Chichewa language.
God has been so good in that we now have Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Joshua completed translated. We are currently working on Judges, and Lord willing we will be done with that book at the end of the month.
Many people are involved with this project, Simon the initial translator, Pastor Shadrick Mwachande, Pastor Adrew Dzimbiri and Rackson Kaiwe the second line of translators who check the typed books three different times for spelling, and correct wording. One of the main blessings of this project is Elizabeth our daughter. She spends days typing hand written translation into documents that the second line of translators can check and edit.
She then goes back the three times and edits this document before it is deemed correct. You might say that typing is easy, but typing a foreign language is very difficult. Instead of just saying the word and your hands typing it, you have to say each letter and some of the words can really throw you; “…Onse akukhulupilira iye adzalandira chikhululukiro cha machismo” Machitidwe 10:43 – “… Whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remissions of sins.” Acts 10:43; say that three times quickly!
At the beginning of the month of December John and Brother Nelson headed down to Tengani for the monthly Men’s Conference. At this meeting there were 85 men present for the two days of teaching. Praise God that the storage facility was completed to include concrete
flooring so that we did not have to teach or sleep outside in the damp and drizzly weather.
We handed out another 40 Bibles to the men that did not receive them the previous month.
This is such a blessing for not only them, but for us. We continually tell them to read the scriptures for themselves and see that what we are teaching them is correct and scriptural (Acts 17:11). We want them to believe the Word of God, not us. We are scheduled to go back down on the 2nd and 3rd of January for the next series of teachings.
During these last two months we continue to go to different churches on Sundays to teach and preach. During November we went to Kautuka #1, Waruma, Njuli. During December we have gone to Waruma, Ozamba, and we are scheduled to go to Benini on the 16th of December, Bwalia on the 23rd, and Makwasa on the 30th.
The first two weeks of December John finished up the Bible Institute with the last two classes being the “Life of Christ”, and Homiletics. The students then took two days of tests; the final exam was 26 pages covering 351 questions. They were really happy to be done, and John was
well pleased with the student’s commitment to the Institute.
On Saturday the 22nd of December, the Fullford and Mowery families and Ms. Goodman will be going to two, large, district hospitals; Chiradzulu, and Thyolo, to give out Christmas gift bags to the patients in the TB, Aid, and Children’s wards. Each gift bag will contain a King James, John/Romans in Chichewa, gospel tracts, body soap, laundry soap, 1Kg of white sugar, (highly prized), a Christian coloring book in Chichewa Darcy and Elizabeth put together, (3) crayons and a large bread roll. We will also take national translators who will preach to each ward as we hand out the gift bags. As a bonus we give out tracts and John/Romans to the
hospital stall when and where ever we find them. It is so encouraging that we can go to these Government hospitals and be welcomed with open arms. They know we are going to preach the Gospel of Christ, and we have their approval and support; Oh,that America had this same attitude!
We want to say a special “THANK YOU” to Bible Baptist Church of Fairbanks for supplying all the funds for the hospital gift bags!
Please pray for one of our co-workers, Ms. Sharon Goodman, in that she has cancer and she is scheduled to go into an SDA hospital on the 26th of December for major surgery. She has been a faithful worker, and a good friend. Our family has purposed to assist her as much as possible, but she needs God’s hand to direct the doctor, and her choices.
On a final note, the Fullford family will be traveling back to America on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 to start a one year furlough. During much of the time John and Darcy will be traveling to new churches to garner more support for Bible Baptist Africa Ministries. Their desire is to also visit existing supporting churches to thank them for their faithfulness, and
financial support.
PRAYER NEEDS FOR THE FULLFORDS AND BBAM:
1. Funds for the Bible College at Tengani. Currently all construction has stopped as the funds have been depleted.
2. Ms. Sharon Goodman and her cancer surgery.
3. Upcoming year and direction for BBAM.
4. The Fullford’s furlough back to America; March 27, 2013.
5. Scheduling Churches for meetings while back in America.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND MAY GOD FIND YOU PROFITABLE NOT ONLY FOR THIS YEAR, BUT FOR NEXT YEAR ALSO!!
By His Grace & Mercy,
John, Darcy, Elizabeth and Johnathan
